I'm always on the lookout for new and gorgeous drusies, so these were a real find. Sparkling quartz crystals sit atop a bed of rust-red jasper, often tumbling over little folds and ridges, at times piling up into little "snowdrifts" of crystals. These stones have lots of character; a few sport a light dusting of black, some black veining, or a touch of the dark mustard and red matrix beneath. Mined in Indonesia, these beauties would look great set in copper or in patinated metals. All of these have a polished rim that is ideal for bezel setting.
