TG218S $98.00 Chinese Writing Stone It seems weird that a stone that looks so completely Oriental actually comes from California, but there it is. I'm happy to be able to provide a refreshed and expanded supply of this popular stone. These are particularly lovely pieces, with lots of "writing" across their surfaces. Satin-finish backs.

Lilypond Marble This is such an intriguing stone: Mined in China, its chocolate-milk-browns, cool whites and pastel green are reminiscent of shady pond edges. It's not a "loud" stone, but it attracts attention because it is so unusual. I have a couple in a matte finish; the remainder are polished. A giant Lilypond piece can be found with our large stones on our Rare Finds page. Please note thicknesses as many of these stones are "pillowy."

Dendritic Limestone These stones were cut by master lapidarist
Keith Horst, and they have an unusual shape. The fronts are flat, left in their
natural state, with the dendrites in some cases spilling a bit over the smooth
sides, which are not beveled inwards.

I've always been fascinated by the architecture of spider webs. Imagine my surprise when I came across them--caught in stone! These midnight-blue cabs are from Guadalajara, Mexico, and have natural spider web patterns in a pale blue--Stunning!
TG123 $19.99
SPECIAL VALUE: Spiderweb Obsidian These stones have very light, almost invisible scratches here and there, probably from being bagged together on their way up from Mexico. The scratches aren't really noticeable unless you're looking for them, but that's enough for me to lower the price of the stones.
TG78 $23.99 reg $25.99
