Zebra Rock

Mined only in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, this fascinating stone looks like dribbles and stripes of molten chocolate over a creamy "coffee ice cream" background. It is not known how these patterns are formed, only that they are 600 million years old.  Please note the sizes on these; some of them are pretty large.  Satin finish backs. Leopard Jasper

Also called Leopard Skin Jasper, these are extremely cool stones, with spots of olive, yellow and peach outlined in a rich black, with bits of reddish brown, pink and creamy white thrown in for extra interest. The leopard they named this stone after must have been one colorful cat!   UNPOLISHED Backs.   Click on photos to enlarge.  MORE LEOPARD SKIN JASPER COMING SOON

Imperial Jasper

With tons of flashy slabs to choose from, I selected these for custom-cut cabs. I was drawn to their soft taupes, greys, olives and sages in marvelous abstract designs. These are polished on both sides.
